It's a New York, New York day!


Dinner-ed over there and we really love the food. Portion is big, food is delicious, prices are rather reasonable for that quality.
Appetizer shal be crunchy mushrooms! Better than Swensen's I can guarantee.

Main course shall be Penne with grilled salmon in cream sauce.

Was too engrossed in eating and totally forgot to take picture of it. =]
For Ngiap, it's Penne with seafood in tomato sauce.

The portion was too big so got to share with the guys. Ordered another side dish, cheesy fries~ It's exactly the same as the ones in KFC, just that the fries are bigger.

When it arrived, both regretted. HAHAHA~ told them to order calamari or others, but they say there will definitely be difference between the cheese fries there and other places, so they insist on ordering that. When Ngiap and me saw their reaction we both gave that serve-you-right face. Who ask them not to listen to us. HAA~

After which, while waiting for Karin to end work, we all went to Hortpark. Yes we went to be some nature lovers for that few hours. Goodness.

Walked around abit and the guys did something really funny. They started off taking pictures of surroundings but didnt know how did they came to the idea of acting as traffic police standing on top of the bridge and start taking pictures of cars. Some cars actually thought they were caught on speed camera! LOL~
This is one good example.

The driver actually stepped on his brake! and it really slowed down! We were laughing like crazy by that time. We should have video it down. It was so hilarious.
Left Hortpark and proceeded to west coast mac to wait for karin while we watch soccer match. There were hell lots of people there. Catch up abit and home sweet home!

Oh man, this should be posted in May?! I'm so sorry sweetie, your birthday celebration came so late!

Anyway, we did celebrate on the actual day but I didnt get him any present and didnt treat him to anything! Gosh, so the guilty me decided to bring him to Fish & Co as a birthday treat from me! =]

Is he trying to be angry that this treat came so late? HAHAHA~ I know he's just pretending.

After such a heavy lunch, decided to walk around town. Walked into Zara, saw this pair of jeans which i really like! Damn, it's exactly the same piece sold in BKK! But it's just S$10 in BKK! ARGH! It's S$59.90 in Zara! Though it's still considered cheap in there, but BKK's price....?! Should have bought it when I saw it there! But I was too lazy to walk back to that shop to get that pair of jeans, grr, see.. REGRET!

However the most satisfying thing is that, I saw many sun dresses in Zara and I'm very proud of my BKK's sun dresses as they cost less than S$10! HAHAHA~

Got pulled out from Zara as I was really tempted to get that jeans, because I was being nagged at spending way too much, and I should stop my addiction for shopping as I'm not in BKK anymore! =[

So there we were, slacking around at Ngee Ann City where he randomly just took this on my camera. -_-



So does this prove that we were really at Ngee Ann City? -_- Silly boy.
He really got nothing to do and he start taking our legs. -_-

After which, we went home to catch dinner with my parents and that ends our day.





Yes baby I still owe you presents! Grr. Well, he thinks that those 10+ tops from BKK are just not good enough as presents because he compared those to that camera he gave me as my birthday present. Such an ass isn't he? But what to do, he's my sweetie boy. =]

Should have post this earlier, but couldn't find the time to do so. Bangkok trip! Lots of photos coming up~

Took 6.45pm Jetstar Asia to BKK and arrived at around 8+pm. Checked into Baiyoke Boutique Hotel. Our very first room (Superior) before we upraded to Deluxe. Very Cheap! Superior will be $60/night while Deluxe will be $75/night. Good deal eh?



Actually there's 2 single beds, but we only camwhore-ed on one bed! =]

After checking in, went out to Pratunum to walk and eat some street stuff. Apparently there will definitely be no photos of us shopping because we were too engrossed!

Met up at 10am the next morning and we are all ready for the shopping spree! First will be Chatuchak, the weekend market! Bought hell lots of barangs from there! Too busy for pictures! But in just one shop we bought 9 tops. =] That was our first few shops if I'm not wrong.

Went back to the hotel to put our stuff and shower and prepare to go out for some good food! Had seafood for dinner. It was DELICIOUS and CHEAP~ We shared among everyone.

Went over to Victorial Monument's night market, didn't buy alot from there, just got a few tops. And back to hotel.

Went to Platinum mall, alright this is the craziest shopping we've ever done! I shall not explain what we actually bought, I believe this picture says it all.


Oh ya, this is the upgraded room, so much more comfy. These stuff are bought in just that few hours in Platinum, have not added the other things we bought the previous days! Shocking isn't it?! But it was SHIOK!


The room was filled with many many many plastic bags!

We went for a foot and body massage! It's all thai style! GOSH! IT'S JUST 180 BAHT FOR FOOT MASSAGE! It'sapproximately S$8-9! Where can we even find this kinda pricing in SG?! And the massage it's 1 full hour! It includes hand, arm, head, neck as well, and it comes with a cup of jasmine tea after the therapy! EXTREMELY GOOD DEAL!

After massage, we were all relaxed and definitely ready to shop again!

We went to try their KFC, the menu is different form SG. It actually comes with fried rice!


Yes they do not use disposable cutlery. It comes with a salad too. The salad is not the same as the ones we eat in SG, it's Tuna Salad! IT's way much better than ours!

Lastly, we did our nails and eyelash extension. That's our eyelash extension.



It's like we manually stick those fake lashes on with a glue, it's the same. It costs about S$30 only. I did diamonds on my pedicure and french for manicure, it costs only S$14-S$15!!!!!!!

Lastly, it's time to go home!


Took this in the cab, oh ya, the cab start up price is 35 Baht = S$1+. The meter moves very slow and the distance we travel there is much more than the distance we travel in SG and it's so much more cheaper. For example, Bukit Batok to Town, it's just about S$6!

We both came with one bag each, went back with 2 bags each. That big bag contains all our shopping stuff, mine was 15+kg. =]

Spent about S$1200 (inclusive of air ticket). YES IT'S ALOT to spend that amount in BKK! But it's worth it! SHOPPING PARADISE~ It just gets so addictive.

Next post shall be a small belated birthday celebration for that precious boy.
